Club
CITY partners 8 primary schools to run Befrienders Clubs in the schools’ premises after school dismissal. Managed by full-time staff and volunteers, our two-hourly weekly clubs provide a safe and supportive environment for children to play, learn and grow under mentors.
We believe that good values play an integral role in shaping the character of children and the way they see and interact with the world as functional adults. Befrienders Clubs’ programmes include short teaching sessions on good values, reinforcing these values with activities, games and experiential learning. Where needed, CITY guides the children with their homework.
