Alumni
The Befrienders Alumni provides continuing holistic support to Befrienders Club graduates when they progress from primary to secondary school. BFA helps them cope with challenges such as settling into a new environment, taking on an increased number of school subjects, and dealing with the physical, psychological and social changes that comes with the transition to adolescence. It provides them with a familiar and welcoming space to interact, forge stronger friendships with other Befrienders Club graduates, and strengthen rapport with CITY mentors.
The BFA not only provides a sense of continuity for Befrienders Club graduates, but also allows CITY to monitor their progress. We continue our efforts to build up the youths’ character, impart good values, and teach leadership and life skills through sports, community service and other hands-on learning.
The BFA is currently located in Anglican High School. Youths can drop in at the club every Saturday ( except public holiday ) from 1pm to 6pm.
